Cosymmetry notion was introduced V. Yudovich (1991) to explain an unusual phenomenon in the planar problem of convection in a porous medium. We consider 2d and 3d covection and compute one-parameter family of steady states with variable stability spectrum (cosymmetric family). We develop mimetic finite-difference schemes to study these problems. Results on stability analysis of equilibria and selection of steady states are presented.
